Although I'm out in the garden starting in February, Kerry usually does the pots later in May. Anywhere from the first weekend in May to the May long weekend. The trouble this year was that we didn't know what was open, when it would open and what would be available. The nursery we like to go to is local and closed in March though they continued to have curbside pickup. The big box stores however never closed and have plants as well so I think the nursery decided they would open again sooner as well. Opening has meant that they have all their plants outdoors and have closed anything indoors that might involve high touch surfaces. Kerry went in the afternoon during the week and there was only a handful of people there so she got in and out quickly. The parking lot was had a different set up that caused enough confusion that while she was there, two cars got into a major fender bender. The noise was apparently horrific and both cars had quite a bit of damage. Not something you expect in a nursery parking lot.
