My Dad and I started the day with a test drive into Vancouver to see where Chloe's vet appointment is. It was pretty easy to get to as it's right off the highway. We also saw that there is a 'pet transfer tent' in front of it. Vets had to stay open right from the start of Covid but they are doing what they can to protect their doctors and their patients. Chloe will get dropped off for her appointment and picked up outside. Perhaps a bit more traumatic for her but probably better than some of the big cat sanctuaries. (See that smooth transition to the picture on the left?) I broke down and checked out Tiger King on Netflix as it seems like it's part of Covid culture. I'm two episodes in and I'm interested to see where it goes. They really seem to be trying to present both sides of these places.
In the evening I worked with Carter to expand on games for the basketball hoop. We marked out some locations so he can play 'Around The World'. Each player has to get it in from all five spots. If you miss you lose your turn. If you make it you keep going. First one to get all spots wins. He should like this one because the spots start off close and get farther as you go.
For dinner we had a delicious roast with mashed potatoes. Yorkshire pudding and cheese biscuit loaf.
