Another day spent dreaming. We now have 'Cottage Life TV' and there is a show on there called 'Main Cabin Masters'. They live in Maine and refurbish old cabins in locations that you'd never be able to build in today. This has sent me to Realtor.ca to see what kind of property is available in BC. Unfortunately there isn't much. It would be nice if it was within 1 or 2 hours, on the water and reasonably priced but that ship sailed many decades ago. I've found a nice one on Salt Spring island but it's $800k. A bit out of our price range. For now I will just have to buying my lottery tickets.
